Jingle Bells...

I've done all my Christmas shopping, and hopefully, if Santa is feeling generous, I will have a couple of presents in my inbox over the next few days to help the turkey go down more easily come Monday. I have my fingers crossed that I can end the year on a similar high to the one I started it on because, as great as 2006 has been (in every respect), the last third of this year has been somewhat dreary. Nothing however, kickstarts the old juices (mixing metaphors - how writerly) like an acceptance when you are feeling low.

Of course, now that I've jinxed it --

-- Anyway, this will probably be my final post before the festive season kicks into high gear, so have a great time, and don't drink too much of the hard stuff...

...but if you do, write a little something - see what happens.

Gimme a break - I'm SURE 2007 will hold great things for you, Brian. You're on your way, bud.

I hope you and Arlene have a great Christmas.

Then on to 2007...

Looks like I really was the only one sad and bored enough to actually be on the internet during Christmas. It was dead, though! Hope you had a great Christmas.

Thanks folks... I had a swell time over the two Xmas days off. Many presents, too much turkey, etc, etc.

-- also some rather good news on the writin' front...

Wow! Congratulations Brian! That's pretty exciting. :)

It's those little things that give us authors that boost we need to write another story.

Keep it up!
