All right, there are two things at the moment that really rub me up the wrong way:
Firstly, that bloody Razorlight song, America. Is it just me or does that thing really make you feel like murder should be decriminalised? I detest it! I'm in a bar, Jack in hand, there it is. I'm in bed, alarm goes off, there it is. I'm watching Coronation Street (no comments, please), and for Christ sake, there it bloody is. Ambient music. Yeah, right!
There are too many indie-British-pseudo-rock outfits these days - Muse, The Fratellis, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks, The Killers... and the aforementioned sods to name but a few. When does it all end? When do we get the real music back instead of these five minute trends? When my brain makes a conscious decision to pack it all in and never listen to anything outside my pre-1994 CD collection?
And secondly... what is it with people who say 'niner' instead of 'nine'? Can I have your account number, please? Lima-Charlie-4-3-8-3-niner-0-6-7. Huh? I understand the origin, and sure, it's always guys of about ninerty-five years old who say it, but it really makes me want to throttle them. I don't think these people realise how close I am to pulling their plug.

The Razorlight song is boring.
But what? Muse? What are you talking about?! Muse are one of greatest band in the world. They've been around a lot longer than the other bands you've listed, they are phenomenal live, and their music is always different and distinguishable. That band consists of nothing but talent. How dare you, how dare you!
You know, that word 'niner' annoys the fuck out of me too, Bri. If I hear it, it conjurs up disturbing images of North American hick truck drivers talking on their radios. It sounds fucking stupid.
I'm with Cap - not heard anyone saying 'niner' but it would annoy me if I did!
And I personally like Killers, Razorlight etc. - each to their own but critisism comeing from somebody who like Mariah Carey... Having been to Live 8 last year, I know who I prefer!!

Btw, it wasn't BT I referred to the other day. I'm quite fine with them. They take £21 a month out of my bank and leave me the hell alone. It was N*XT.
