The reviews for Read By Dawn Vol. II keep coming in and by and large they seem to be very positive:
The first one comes in via Monster Librarian and says Between The Screams is "not for the faint of heart". Good stuff, because it really isn't. The review goes on to say that:
"...the tales in Read by Dawn 2 range in quality - happily, in this case, from fairly good to great. Recommended for adult horror collections in any library."
The second review appears on Hellnotes and notes Between The Screams as "goose bump inducing". Again, the entire book comes in for praise:
"The stories in Read By Dawn were a varied lot of haunted houses, ghosts, serial killers, etc. Just about all of the stories were very well written... Great stories, great attention to detail, great fun reading it! All in all a great book and one that I would recommend to anyone to read!"
I can't ask for much more than that, and it is always nice to be singled out (praise or otherwise) from a list of twenty-five stories. Both Monster Librarian and Hellnotes are a great source for horror reviews, so if you're ever looking for something else to read in the genre, give them a spin first.
