Holiday Hit...

I returned from the far east to discover that my 300 word flash piece, The Birth of the Animal - one of my personal favourites - had been accepted by Horror Garage, and if you care to follow the link, you will see it is now live.

Horror Garage used to be a print magazine but recently shelved the hard copies, and its output is now strictly electronic. It's a magazine I have long looked to get into as beneath its gaudy, in-your-face, outer shell, are some pretty dark tales.

It's quite a disturbing little number, but don't blame me. I hear voices.

A cool site, Brian. And the story was tense and engaging. Congrats!

Hmmm that one took a little while to sink in... I liked it. Flash fiction can be really crap - glad that one wasn't! Cheers... although you are banned from looking a little girls OK...

Thanks for the kudos, guys.

And Ben, for what it' worth, I always make sure the girls I look at were born before the 80s slipped into the 90s...

You've certainly given birth to a nasty animal there... Thankfully it's trapped in a three hundred word cage!

Thank you guys.

Ian, you're right, the first page is probably scarier than what's held within!
